George Lyle has been appointed as general manager, Asia-Pacific and will be responsible for managing and developing the company’s business in the Asia-Pacific region and will play a significant role in driving forward the company’s growth there.
Mr Lyle has previously held the senior executive position of vice president packaging and narrow web Asia at Flint Group. Managing director, Gary Seward, said, ‘We are delighted to welcome George to the team. Asia-Pacific is the largest and fastest growing region in the global label market and offers tremendous opportunities for us. This senior appointment plays a vital part in our strategy to secure new business in attractive growth markets. George brings a wealth of knowledge and industry expertise that will be invaluable for us in terms of supporting our growth in this region and having George on board will ensure we can take full advantage of the market potential.’
Darren Gillespie has also been appointed as technical service manager and will provide technical support to the company’s customers located in the North of England. Mr Gillespie brings with him over 30 years of experience and valuable technical expertise in the industry with a strong background in inks and coatings across both conventional and digital printing applications.
Mr Seward said, ‘Darren’s appointment will strengthen our UK team as we build the foundations to ensure continued success in our domestic market.’ Mr Gillespie will support Mark Baines, who joined the company last year in the role of technical sales manager.
