A new brand image with a more contemporary look has been introduced by MacDermid Printing Solutions to reflect its continued innovation in the packaging, screen printing and newspaper businesses.
Platform Specialty Products Corporation’s acquisition of MacDermid in 2013 and subsequent acquisitions by Platform have created the need for a new organisational structure within the company. MacDermid Printing Solutions now becomes part of MacDermid Performance Solutions and will be renamed MacDermid Graphics Solutions to more accurately reflect its core business.
‘This was a perfect time to evaluate our company’s brand and logo to ensure it was in sync with who we are and where we are going,’ said Heather Barrett, global marketing director at MacDermid Graphics Solutions. She continued, ‘After careful consideration, we chose a new logo that pays respect to our Scottish heritage, but with a more modern look that shows our place in MacDermid Performance Solutions. The new logo represents the ongoing evolution of our company brand.’
