Developed especially for the post-print corrugated printers, DuPont’s new Cyrel Easy EPCis a soft digital plate with a built-in flat top dots for increased productivity and consistency.
‘We’re excited to extend our Cyrel Easy plate portfolio to include Cyrel Easy EPC for corrugated tradeshops and printers,’ said Bob Hannum, corrugated segment manager – North America, DuPont Advanced Printing. ‘Customers are simplifying their plate making workflow and seeing improved print results, particularly, a reduction in fluting.’
The new plates simplify the prepress process with built-in flat top digital dots, resulting in increased productivity and consistency, as part of an on-going effort by DuPont to improve quality, sustainability and productivity for flexographic printing. Corrugated printers will also benefit from high exposure resolution for better quality reproduction, and reduced make-ready time.
DuPont customer Printron has been using the new plates, which minimise fluting effect when printing on a wide variety of corrugated boards. ‘With DuPont Cyrel Easy EPC plates, we are seeing a simplified, seamless integration into our current plateroom workflow and excellent print performance,’ commented Jack Fulton, vice president of sales for Printron.
