Supplier of nonstop unwind and rewind solutions, Monomatic, has secured an alliance with KTI, manufacturer of automatic splicers, turret rewinders and other web converting equipment.
The two companies offer similar equipment ranges, with the main difference between the two product lines being size, speed and customisable options.
The largest KTI offers nonstop unwinds and rewinds with roll diameters up to 1270mm, web widths up to 1829mm and speeds up to 305m/min. Monomatic equipment goes beyond that scope with roll diameters up 2200mm, web widths up to 3000mm and speeds of up to 1000m/min. The standard KTI product lines currently available perfectly complement Monomatic equipment offering customers a product for unique custom applications.
Freddy Mermin, sales manager for Monomatic, will take on the role of European Sales Manager for the KTI equipment through Monomatic. In addition, KTI will represent and sell the Monomatic product line throughout the North American market helping both companies expand their coverage and build their businesses. KTI has been looking for a way to increase their presence in Europe for the past few years and the alliance with Monomatic will help to accomplish this while also providing a wider customer base in North America with the sales of Monomatic equipment.
