A change has been announced at the top of Esko’s Digital Flexo business, with general manager Eddy Fadel being promoted by parent company Veralto to become president of fellow Veralto company Linx. Replacing him as an interim general manager is Thomas Klein, who has held a variety of leadership roles in Esko’s Digital Flexo and Digital Finishing businesses during a 34-year career at the company.
Linx is an industrial inkjet printing and coding solutions supplier. Mr Fadel has been with Esko for nine years, helping to transform the business from a hardware-focused operation into a comprehensive automated ecosystem, supporting customers with integrated solutions and delivering sustained business growth, said Veralto. Earlier in his Esko career, he also led the successful transition of the company’s supplier business to a subscription model.
“This well-deserved promotion recognizes Eddy’s outstanding leadership, business accomplishments, and the significant impact he has made across Esko over the past nine years,” said Mattias Byström, senior VP and chief segment officer for Product Quality & Innovation at Veralto.
“As president of Linx, Eddy will lead the business with a mission to reignite growth, strengthen market leadership, and position the business for long-term success. His role is pivotal in ensuring the business continues to support manufacturers worldwide with reliable printing and coding technologies that improve productivity, traceability and compliance.”
Mr Fadel said he looks forward to “building on the strong foundation of Linx and working closely with customers, partners and colleagues around the world”.
Of Thomas Klein’s elevation to become interim general manager of the Digital Flexo business, Mr Byström said his “extensive industry knowledge and long-standing customer relationships position him well to continue advancing the Digital Flexo strategy”.
Mr Klein added: “Digital Flexo remains a core part of the Esko portfolio and the company’s long-term growth strategy. Our customers can expect business continuity, ongoing investment in innovation, and the same commitment to service excellence that has defined the business for many years. Together with our customers and partners, we will continue advancing the Digital Flexo ecosystem to help packaging converters succeed in a rapidly evolving market.”
