HiFlow Solutions has announced the launch of HiFlow Quote, estimating software designed for folding carton, flexible packaging, corrugated, and label converting companies.
The company said the software is intended to operate as a standalone estimating system that can be implemented alongside existing enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms used by packaging manufacturers.
“Traditional estimating workflows depend on internal handoffs between departments, email exchanges, and manual data entry, which slows down the quoting process and creates hidden operational costs,” says Mariusz Sosnowski, CEO, HiFlow Solutions.
“HiFlow Quote removes those bottlenecks by automatically extracting information from order inquiries and generating structured estimates instantly. The system works around the clock, allowing manufacturers to produce accurate quotes faster,” he added.
According to the company, the system processes requests for quotes (RFQs) submitted through email, PDFs, or portal uploads. It extracts estimating parameters such as product dimensions, substrate specifications, print requirements, quantities, coatings and finishes, and delivery timelines. The software can also identify missing information and generate clarification questions.
“Speed matters in competitive packaging markets,” said Mr Sosnowski. “When manufacturers can respond to RFQs quickly with accurate pricing, they improve their chances of winning profitable business.”
HiFlow Solutions said the software provides cost breakdowns across materials, labour, machine time, tooling, and overhead. The system also evaluates production variables such as labour use, material usage, imposition layouts, and palletisation.
“HiFlow Quote analyses complex production variables in seconds, enabling companies to generate accurate quotes faster and compete more effectively,” Mr Sosnowski added.
The company said the software includes a visual interface intended to make the estimating process accessible to both new and experienced users. Estimating data is stored in a centralised system, which the company says can help preserve institutional knowledge.
HiFlow Quote is built on the same platform as HiFlow ERP. HiFlow Solutions said companies using the estimating system can add additional modules such as production scheduling, inventory management, and purchase order processing.
