Gama Group has introduced new technologies for monitoring and managing printing fluids, alongside additional pressroom equipment, as part of an expansion of its portfolio for the flexo printing industry.

Among the newly introduced systems is ACSone – Antifoam Control System, designed to monitor and control foam formation in corrugated board printing processes that use water-based inks. The system automatically doses antifoaming agents to help prevent print defects and reduce production waste, supporting more stable and consistent printing conditions.

The company has also launched LCSone, an independent system for the automatic control of ink levels and consumption. According to Gama Group, the system maintains a constant fluid level, manages setpoint alarms and can integrate with automatic refill systems. This allows printers to better control ink usage while reducing manual intervention and associated operating costs.

In addition to the new process control technologies, Gama Group has expanded its range of pressroom equipment with several new accessories designed to improve organisation and efficiency on the production floor. The additions include plate washers and anilox washers, branded plate mounters, and storage systems for sleeves and plates from different, unnamed partners

These accessories are available in both manual and automatic versions and are intended to support more organised pressroom workflows. The company said the systems are designed to improve operational safety, simplify the management of consumables and help operators manage critical production stages more efficiently, potentially reducing machine downtime and improving the consistency of finished print quality.

Federico Paulli, sales director at Gama Group, said the expanded portfolio is intended to provide practical solutions that can be integrated into existing printing operations.

“With this expansion, we aim to provide printers with concrete, easily integrable solutions capable of delivering a rapid return on investment,” Mr Paulli said. “These solutions represent a step toward higher productivity, stronger process control and consistent flexographic print quality, while helping operators reduce downtime in daily operations.”

Gama Group said the additions reflect its ongoing focus on developing technologies and equipment that support more efficient and reliable flexographic printing processes.
