A new slitter rewinder from AB Graphic has been commissioned at Scotland’s CV Labels, adding to its longstanding relationship with the supplier, and also marking a milestone as the company moves forward under a new generation of leadership.
The system – which is fitted with ABG’s fleyevision cameria inspection and REA JET inkjet print systems – is the second such at CV Labels, and the ninth ABG system it has installed in total. The company said the latest addition will play an important role in delivering quality and efficiency, particularly in the pharmaceutical labelling sector, where accuracy and full traceability are critical.
CV Labels, which operates both flexo and digital presses, has also had a change of leadership, with founder Bob Veitch handing the baton over to his daughter Susan and son Ross. The new leadership will “uphold the company’s values of innovation, reliability and dedicated customer service”.
