Narrow and mid web technology provider Omet Americas has added Paul Teachout to its North American division, where he will support business development efforts across the region. Mr Teachout brings over 40 years of experience in the printing and packaging industry.

Mr Teachout’s roles span across sales, technical service, business development, and marketing at companies such as Webtron/Aquaflex, Nilpeter, Anderson & Vreeland, and Harper Corporation of America, where he returned in 2023 prior to now joining Omet Americas. A second-generation printer, he has also been active in industry organisations, including the FTA and TLMI. In 2024, he was elected chair of the FTA Board of Directors, where he is helping lead efforts to modernise training, expand industry outreach, and support the flexographic sector’s transition toward broader packaging technologies.

“I am extremely excited to be joining the team at Omet Americas,” said Mr Teachout. “Omet has built a solid support platform in North America and has positioned itself as a key player in the narrow web market space. Omet’s continued leadership in bringing the most innovative multi-process platforms to modern-day converters has been exceptional, and I can’t wait to share more of their success.”

Uliam Hoxha, general manager of Omet Americas, also welcomed the appointment, noting the depth of expertise Mr Teachout brings to the role.

“We are thrilled to welcome Paul to the Omet Americas team,” said Mr Hoxha. “He brings not only decades of industry experience but also a genuine passion for helping converters thrive in a competitive market. Paul’s deep understanding of print technologies and customer needs makes him a perfect fit as we continue to expand our presence in North America. His insight and leadership will be a valuable asset as we work to deliver even greater value and innovation to our partners across the region.”

Omet Americas is the North American arm of Omet, a manufacturer of narrow- and mid-web printing and packaging solutions.
