Paper producer Zanders will continue operations after Cologne district court opened insolvency proceedings over the company’s assets on 1 September.
The company will be run under the leadership of an insolvency team with Marc d’Avoine appointed as insolvency administrator. The managing directors Ferlan, Köhler- Ma and Dr. Geiser have discontinued their activity within the firm.
Ongoing analysis will determine which measures will need to be taken to save the company which currently employs more than 500 people.
The team around Dr. d’Avoine continues to be confident that it will be able to reach a viable solution for all concerned, paving the way for Zanders GmbH into the future.
