Manufacturer of printing presses and converting equipment, Edale has announced its official expansion into the third and final unit at its head office near Portsmouth, in Hampshire.
This new expansion will result in an additional 20,000 square foot being added to the factory, taking the total space to 50,000 square foot allowing the company to increase production in line with its future growth plans.
The company first moved into the purpose built head office in 2009, and two years on, opened a second unit, marked by a successful open day with over 100 people in attendance.
Edale’s open approach to achieving the right solution for customers through technology partnerships and innovative engineering has seen it having to expand into the remaining third unit on site to increase capabilities and facilitate current customer demand.
To assist in this increased demand, the company has also invested £350,000 in a new Mazak CNC machine centre ensuring the performance of critical components manufactured in house.
James Boughton, managing director, commented, ‘In Edale’s growth, we look forward to both, continuing and new collaborations with future technology partners and customers globally.’
