AJS has received tributes from across the packaging and labels industry after it announced that sales director, Tim Gittings, has passed away leaving behind a wife and daughter.
The company described Mr Gittings as ‘one of the most committed, dedicated and knowledgeable people in the print industry.’
Andrew Scrimgeour, managing director, said, ‘Tim will be very sadly missed by all at AJS Labels and I know by his customers. He will be especially missed by those of us who had the privilege of being his friend.’
During his eight years at the company he drove all aspects of the business forward and especially championed customer service. Under his leadership the company won a number of awards for this service.
The funeral will take place on Monday 29 December at 3.15 pm at Gilroes Crematorium on Groby Road in Leicester.
There will be a wake afterwards at the Castle Hotel in Kirby Muxloe from approximately 4.30 pm.
Only family flowers will be used, however, the family has suggested that donations to Cancer Research UK would be appreciated.
