California-based K-1 Packaging Group has bought a 22 inch Nilpeter FA-6 press to accommodate its growing flexible packaging business.
The 22″ press offers printing on a broad range of multi-substrate packaging materials. This modular UV-flexo press provides super fast make-ready with its easy-load sleeve technology. With low waste and setup times reduced to seconds per unit, the FA-6 is very easy to operate.
Vice president of manufacturing, Eric Tsai, explained, ‘What we look for in a new press is technologies that can simplify setup, maintain product quality and consistency, and reduce waste. Of all the presses we considered, Nilpeter’s FA-6 best fits the bill.’

The group designs and manufactures retail packaging materials, including pressure sensitive labels, flexible packaging, and folding cartons – distributed worldwide.
