Team Herma at the top of Pen Y Fan, the highest peak in South Wales

Continuing its annual charitable fundraising drive with an unconventional triathlon, which combined cycling, canoeing and climbing Pen Y Fan, Herma has helped raise over £150,000.

The event took place on 27 June 2015 in the picturesque setting of the Welsh Brecon Beacons, a team event of cycling, mountain climbing and canoeing over a gruelling 45 mile cycle and climb to the Brecon’s highest mountain, Pen y Fan (2,907ft) and 3 km canoe on the Pontsticill Reservoir.

This year 76 teams entered and raised over £150,000 for Action Medical Research for Children, this is the third year the event has taken place.

Team Herma came in 27th place overall and raised a total of £3,000 towards the overall total. This was their first attempt and completed the course with a time of 9 hours 2 mins, coming 8th out of 27 mixed teams.
