Graphic Republik will be joining Dantex at Labelexpo to show its comprehensive set of packaging pre press tools and solutions for the label printing industry.
Steve Donegan, managing director at Graphic Republik, said, ‘The latest edition of Labelexpo will allow us to show how our solutions can add value, save time and in the case of MaxColor and Smart Screen, how we can implement award winning pre press solutions that won’t break the bank.’
At the show the company will be giving demonstrations of MaxColor to show how time and cost savings can be made by reducing the amount of ink used on press whilst enhancing product images. There will also be a focus on enhancing print quality with presentations of Smart Screen, an award winning flexo and letterpress screening application.
Smart Screen uses a special algorithm to generate files which produce stable dots on the plate and visually superior tonal ranges, particularly in highlight areas. In addition, it requires minimal changes in pre press or print room – either in process or hardware changes.
From a proofing perspective, Star Proof will be producing high quality halftone proofs whilst supporting the latest HD and NX screening technologies. Visitors will be able to see range of sample proofs and mock-ups created using Star Proof and the Epson Stylus Pro WT7900 device. The proofing system produces accurate spot colours aqueous white ink on a range of media such as paper, clear film and metallic substrates.
