nyloflex FTF roadshow

Flint Group has introduced the new printing plate for flat top dots, nyloflex FTF digital, in three different countries across Latin America.

The nyloflex FTF plate for flexible packaging was introduced in July 2015 and offers significant complexity reduction and efficiency gain for the reproduction of flat top dots, as it can be processed like any standard digital plate; no additional equipment, processes or consumables are needed.

During a trade show in Buenos Aires on 5 August, Lucas Woodyatt, sales manager, demonstrated the advantages of the new flexo printing plate to more than 20 attendees. ‘Amongst other things, we discussed how this product could affect the future of flexo printing,’ he said.

Across the continent and just over a week later, the plate was introduced in Chile. In Santiago de Chile, Mr Woodyatt presented the plate to a select audience and it drew a lot of attention. After the presentation, several print trials were scheduled with various printers and trade shops to showcase functionality.

A third event took place in Lima, Peru, on 7 September where Matias Katila, regional sales director LATAM, presented the advantages of the flat top dot plate to over 50 invited guests.

The plate was presented again on 9 December on the other side of Latin America in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where it left a lasting impression at SENAI (National Service for Industrial Training), the Brazilian training network of not-for-profit professional schools in Barureri.
