The first FTA Diamond Awards ceremony, organised by the FTA Europe, is due to take place during drupa at the Hyatt hotel in the centre of Dusseldorf on 2 June 2016.
The judges comprising Alain de Blander, the Benelux, Emmanuel Chaud, France, Stefano d’Andrea, Italy, Xavier Boadas, Spain, and David Galton from the UK, met at the head office of the FTA Europe in Brussels. There they spent two days analysing the gold winners of each participating country’s own awards and selected 29 winners out of 43 entries over 10 categories, as well as the Best in Show.
The association is an umbrella organisation for the flexo technical associations of the Benelux (EFTA-Benelux), France (ATF), Italy (ATIF), Spain (ATEF) and the UK (EFIA), established in February 2015.
The awards form part of the association’s aim to collaborate in promotional activities for the flexo industry and to develop a technical knowledge resource.
