South African label printer Universal Labels & Packaging has purchased its fourth MPS EF 430 flexo press, through distributor Rotocon.
The MPS EF is a high-quality and highly automated multi-substrate flexo press, especially designed for label production and flexible packaging printing on thin unsupported film or thick cartonboard. Providing the ultimate in flexibility, the EF enables operators to maximize press performance, thanks to its ease of operation and reliability.
Brett Prawde, CEO of Universal Labels & Packaging, commented, ‘It is always a pleasure to invest in another MPS press. This will be our fourth, and I guarantee not our last. In 2014, Universal Labels & Packaging and Labelpak joined forces, bringing together two of Johannesburg’s longest-established label printing companies. It operates 16 printing presses including digital, offset and flexographic in an 8000 sqm manufacturing facility in Midrand.
