Reproflex Scandinavia (Denmark) has received the first FlexoExpert Certification in the Nordic region after Flint Group experts provided evaluation and training on best plate making practices with its FlexoExpert Certification Program.
During a six-month process consisting of three main steps – evaluation and training, implementation, and audit – the FlexoExpert Certification Program provides the means by which plate makers can further optimise their work flow processes to make more reliable and consistent plates.
With the guidance of a Flint Group expert, Reproflex Scandinavia implemented the program and passed the final audit to earn FlexoExpert Certification of its plate making process, and in doing so became the first company in the Nordic region to achieve this certification. The certification serves as proof to its customers that the company utilises best practices in its flexo plate making.
‘We have developed a detailed log system giving full documentation and traceability. Reproflex Scandinavia has joined the program to optimise and standardise production,’ said Soren Lund, technical manager. ‘Our customers can rely on consistently high quality flexo plates’.
The company produces data, design and digital printing plates for the packaging industry with business in almost all areas of the graphic process, including prepress for flexo, offset and gravure.
