After a six month certification process, German printer Bischof + Klein, has achieved FlexoExpert status after completing Flint Group’s FlexoExpert Certification Programme.
The company is a full-service supplier of flexible plastic and plastic laminate packaging and technical films. The product range encompasses traditional industrial packaging as well as highly converted consumer packaging and innovative special films for technical applications.
During a six month process consisting of three main steps – evaluation and training, implementation, and audit – the FlexoExpert Certification Programme provides the means by which plate makers can further optimise their work flow processes to make more reliable and consistent plates time and again.
With the guidance of a Flint Group expert, Bischof + Klein implemented the programme and passed a final audit. The company now uses this certification to demonstrate to its customers that the company offers best practices in manufacturing its flexographic printing plates and that they can continue to rely on Bischof + Klein’s delivering plates of outstanding quality with absolute reliability.
‘The FlexoExpert certification is a further element for standardising process parameters whilst simultaneously increasing quality in high definition flexographic printing’, said Helmut Wenzl, printing department production manager.
